shikse

young, non-Jewish woman

Alternatively spelled "shiksa", this is a derogatory word to describe a non-Jewish young female, who is usually blond, attractive and the girlfriend of a fellow Jew. It can also be used to describe a Jewish girl who fails to follow Jewish religious customs. The male version is shegetz. They both come from the Hebrew word שכץ (sheketz) which means unpure or blemmished. In South American, the word is also used to refer to the maid.
